While I've been catching up on all your blogs and telling my mum all about them, I've noticed a clicking noise in my left jaw joint! Should I be worried?!
Hope you're feeling better- when do you see your surgeon next? Definitely ask them. I would take it easy on your jaw for the next few days,I've heard it takes about 6-8 weeks for it to regain 40% strength
I won't be seeing the surgeon for another three weeks. I'm worried I'm over-using my jaw, but I'm not really having any pain or anything so I suppose that's a good sign. The clicking seems to have stopped now... I think I'm just worrying too much!
Hi Emma, sorry for my very late reply! No I never found out what it was but it seemed to disappear after a few days, and I haven't had any problems since.
Hi I'm Sarah, I'm 23 and I'm planning to undergo lower and upper jaw surgery to correct my overbite and gummy smile. I was offered but declined this surgery when I was a teenager, but have now decided to go ahead with the procedure. When making this decision I found it really helpful to read other blogs, and hope that documenting my surgery will help others!
