How do I add a countdown?!

Hi bloggers, does anybody know how I add the countdown thing on the side of my blog that counts down the time til my surgery?

    I used the countdown clock at http://mycountdown.org/My_Countdown/My_Countdown/widget/

    When you've created the countdown, it will create an HTML code to copy. Then go to blogger and "add Gadget" called "HTML/Java Script", which will come up on Basics. I think that's it!
