Hi bloggers, not much to report, just waiting and waiting for my next appointment. Also still can't open my mouth very wide, I should really do some exercises but I just forget about it. Anyway, here are my 4 month pics...
Dear Sarah: U look stunning here! What a result! I am now at 11 weeks post op. I just want to ask u a few things, how was ur swelling at week 11? My face still feels a bit stiff around my cheeks and nose. Feeling wise, I have a patch of numness left in my chin and my lower lip. And did u see anymore changes in your face since week 11? Thanks.
Hi 'Anonymous'! Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. I think that's quite normal to still feel a bit stiff and swollen at 11 weeks, I'm not at over 4 months and still have slightly fat cheeks, especially on the left side. I've still seen changes but it's very gradual that you don't really notice until someone you havent seen for a while comments on it. I can't really comment much on numbness as I was very lucky with this and didn't really have any, but from reading other people's stories I would say still feeling numb at 11 weeks is completely normal. Hope this helps and sorry again for my delayed reply, let me know if you have any other questions :) xx
Hi I'm Sarah, I'm 23 and I'm planning to undergo lower and upper jaw surgery to correct my overbite and gummy smile. I was offered but declined this surgery when I was a teenager, but have now decided to go ahead with the procedure. When making this decision I found it really helpful to read other blogs, and hope that documenting my surgery will help others!
VERY VERY nice! I have gummy smile and must go to the surgeon for consultation. Maybe I will have a surgery.
