I also wanted to add this picture of me and my gorgeous nephew, because it was taken as I was naturally laughing, and I just can't believe how disgusting my teeth look when I actually laugh, rather than do a pretend smile for the photo. It's so gummy and disgusting.
Long Overdue Update

I feel that we both were very similar before I had my surgery and understand your feelings towards yourself- as I had the same. You are a pretty girl but after surgery you will be even more perfect. I often think to myself that we are going to end up how we were meant to be before our jaws started growing funny. I am so excited to see your result and your nephew really is so cute.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment Catherine, I agree with you, I also think that our post-surgery faces are how they were meant to be all along before our jaws started going weird (or in my case, before I sucked my thumb so much I ruined my face!) I can't wait until I'm in the same position as you, and I would be soooooooo happy if I ended up looking as gorgeous as you (although I doubt I will!) Aww thanks, he is a cutie!
ReplyDeleteYour arches are looking perfect! And your face has some beautiful features so I can tell you're going to look amazing !!! :)
ReplyDeleteWhen I look at my "before" pictures, I'd swear I hear growling in the background. Even with braces, I'm so happy with my new teeth. I smile all the time. Any idea when your surgery will be? In the meantime, just look at positive — if you smile in the rain your bottom teeth won't get wet. Total perk!! Class IIs rule.
ReplyDeleteThanks Allie, I hope you're right! Thomas, I'm not sure at the moment, I'm not even being put on the waiting list for surgery until the end of September so will probably still be a long time :(
